This is the Third Sunday of Easter, and because Pastor David is recovering from some ill health, instead of one worship video, we have a series of videos for you. First, Pastor David Sprang, Assistant to the Bishop and Director for Evangelical Mission shares the gospel message. Please leave a nice comment for him!
Next we have a Children’s Sermon by Sharon Ross.
Then we have a couple of worship songs, recorded by Jonathan Lonsway. You can download the song sheet here.
Finally, here is another video Pastor David created, originally planned as the introduction to this Sunday’s worship. We pray you have a blessed day, and we pray for the day to come when we can all be together again.
Thank you Pastor Strang. Your sermon took me back to times around our family’s table over the past years and I could see that Jesus was there. I appreciated the bread and wine as focus points, and the Samaritas coffee cup as a reminder that Jesus is also present as we serve others. Thank you, too, for your closing prayer.
Thanks Sharon for the “breaking of bread” message and Jonathan for the music. Thanks also to Pastor Dave and Judy, for the opening video – very inspirational. It might serve as a devotional for me this week. I notice that you have removed Calico Annie from the credits – did she lose interest or is she too involved in other projects?
Calico Annie has been overwhelmed by her new found popularity. She has taken some time off from her technical work and spending it at the spa for some “me(ow)” time. I believe she will return to work next week!
Thank you for the sermon today Pastor Strang. . I enjoyed your words.
Thanks everyone for leading us in worship today. It’s nice to feel like we come together on Sunday mornings, at least virtually. Will be praying for Pastor Dave this week!
Thank you Pastor Strang for sharing your/God’s message with us at your family table. I always love to be reminded of Christ’s presence at the table. Thank you!
Thank you Pastor Sprang for leading us in worship. We so appreciate the opportunity to gather together “separately” and await the day we can all be in each other’s company!
It is comforting to have these Sunday worship videos. Thank you Pastor Sprang, Jonathan, and Sharon. Once again, I was inspired by the beautiful artwork and music in the final video. Pastor Dave and Judy, could we consider having such videos as an opening to worship when we are able to resume services together as a congregation?
Thanks, Karen. It may be a possibility regarding the videos. I will check with Jonathan and see what we would need to do to include them into our worship experience.
Thank you for bringing Easter worship into our home.
