Join us for worship, outdoors at 11:00 am. We hope to see you there!

The online worship service will continue and will take place at 9:30 am.

Worshiping Outdoors
Please note the following information to prepare for worshiping with us outdoors.

Bulletin
Please download the bulletin for viewing on a mobile device. Only a few printed bulletins will be available.

Location
We will hold outdoor services on the south side of the property, at the top of the hill. Please sign in with the Greeters at the table and an Usher will help you find seating, either on the grass or the pavement. We ask you bring a blanket or chair to sit on.

Please use the East Beltline entrance to the church grounds, as the Four Mile entrance is under construction.

Health Practices
We will continue to practice social distancing – family groups may sit together, six feet from other groups. Only members of the same household should sit together.

Due to CDC guidance, mask wearing may be relaxed outdoors for those who are fully vaccinated. Therefore, we ask that you wear masks while signing in, visiting, and finding your seats. During the worship service while you are socially distanced, you have the option to remove your face mask.

We do continue to urge you to refrain from physical contact, including handshakes and hugs. A contact-less option for sharing the peace will be demonstrated.

The Eucharist
We have all been longing to begin sharing communion again, and we will now do so at our outdoor services, with the following provisions:

  • It will be communion of one kind (the bread) – even though we will not drink from the cup, in Lutheran theology and practice, this is a full expression of the Eucharist.
  • Please wear your mask when receiving the host.

You may view all of this information on our website, as well as information pertaining to re-entry and resumption of indoor services.
