Women’s Bible Study

Have you longed to be able to integrate the spiritual side of your life with the rest of it? Join the women’s weekly Bible study group (aka WOW) as they read and discuss “Liturgy of the Ordinary: Sacred Practices in Everyday Life” by Tish Harrison Warren. Framed around one ordinary day, this book explores daily life through the lens of liturgy, small practices, and habits that form us.

The women meet on Wednesday from 9:15-10:30am in the Gathering Room (with a Zoom option). For more information contact: Linda Reyelts (lreyelts@gmail.com) or Meredith Bricker (meredith.bricker@gmail.com)

Men’s Bible Study

Join the guys for an early morning Bible study at 6:30am each Friday. This fall they’re reading and discussing “See No Stranger: A Memoir and Manifesto of Revolutionary Love” by Valarie Kaur. For more information, contact: Chris Christensen (CHRISTENSENC@michigan.gov) or Monty Williams (hooyah.monty@gmail.com)

Home Church

St. Luke’s offers a unique opportunity for men and women to meet together in small groups in each other’s homes to share life, build community, and grow together in faith. We call this Home Church. This fall, two Home Church groups are gathering and welcoming new people to join them:

Tuesday Afternoon Home Church: meets from 1:00 – 2:30 pm to share prayer, life, and a short Bible study. This fall, they are reading and discussing “They Walked with God: 40 Biblical Characters Who Inspire Us” by Max Lucado.

Sunday Evening Home Church: meets from 6:00 – 7:30 pm for study, prayer and a time of sharing. Beginning in October, they will read and discuss “The Prodigal God” by Timothy Keller.

To join a Home Church, call or email the church office.
