Good Grief
Why is it so difficult to talk about grief? Why are bereaved people often abandoned by their social networks? What leads to bereaved people, who carry a great deal of pain, feeling they cannot be honest about their pain and hopelessness? Is there a way out of this dilemma? This session explores these and other questions about grief and offers helpful ways to think about and be with grief as it comes into our daily life.
Led by Sharon Ross, the Minister of Spiritual Formation at St. Luke’s. Sharon has a Masters Degree in Christian Formation from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. She is a certified Spiritual Director and Grief Recovery Specialist.
